Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

Universal Raw Ingredients LLC operates the Pacific86 website. Pacific86 is the sister company of Source86. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have. We call ourselves “we” and “us”.

What the Forms Collect

When you send the inquiry form, we receive what you type:

  • your name, your company and your work email;
  • the product category and the channel you choose;
  • your annual volume;
  • anything you write in the notes field.

The quick quote form asks for your name, your company, your business email, the product you are asking about, your channel and your annual volume, plus your phone number and any additional information, if you give them.

Both forms also send a few details you do not type: the page you sent it from, the product or category that page is about, where on the site the form was, the last Get a quote or Request a sample button you pressed, and the campaign tags in the web address you first arrived on, such as UTM tags or a Google Ads click id.

Why We Collect It, and Where It Goes

We use it to answer your inquiry, prepare a specification and a quote, and follow up on a business relationship with your company. We do not use it for anything else.

The form sends it through a secure connection to Airtable, the database we keep inquiries in, where the Pacific86 team reads it. Airtable stores it for us under contract. We do not publish it and we do not pass it to anyone outside the companies that help us run the site and the sales process.

Analytics

We use four tools to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, and where visitors get stuck.

  • Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, how you reached the site, your device and browser, your approximate location, and actions such as downloading a spec sheet or choosing Get a quote. When you send an inquiry, it receives the channel you picked, such as Foodservice. It never receives your name, email, phone, company or message. It sets cookies to recognize a return visit.
  • Microsoft Clarity makes session recordings and heatmaps: how you scroll, move and click, with your device and browser. Anything you type into a form field is masked and never recorded. It sets cookies to link the pages of one visit.
  • Vercel Analytics counts page views, the site that sent you, your country, and your device, browser and operating system. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not recognize you on a later visit.
  • Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load and respond on your device, with your device type, browser and country. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify you.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity run only after you choose Accept in the banner. Until then, nothing from Google or Microsoft loads. If you choose Decline, or choose nothing, neither loads. Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights run for every visitor, because they use no cookies and cannot identify you.

Once you accept, Google and Microsoft process what those tools collect under their own privacy terms and keep it under the retention settings of each tool.

You can change your choice at any time. Choose Change your analytics choice and the banner asks you again. If you decline after accepting, Google Analytics stops using cookies and Microsoft Clarity stops recording straight away, and neither loads again once you reload the page.

Cookies and Browser Storage

The site sets no cookie of its own. It stores a few small items in your browser:

  • your analytics choice, Accept or Decline, in local storage, so the banner does not ask on every page;
  • a short-lived flag in session storage after you send the form, so the confirmation page counts your inquiry once. It is removed when that page reads it;
  • the campaign tags in the web address you first arrived on, such as UTM tags or a Google Ads click id, in session storage, so an inquiry you send later in the same visit says where you came from;
  • the last Get a quote or Request a sample button you pressed, in session storage, sent only with an inquiry.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies. Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights set none. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of these.

Technical Data

Like any website, the site's hosting provider records standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. To stop automated abuse of the form, we hold the IP address of a form submission briefly, in memory only.

How Long We Keep It

We keep an inquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to manage the business relationship with your company, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. After that we delete it.

Your Rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and the right to access, correct and delete it. Residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights, and we honor them the same way. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To make a request, reach us through our contact form and say what you are asking for. You can also email us at hello@pacific86.com. We will confirm the request comes from you before we act on it, and you can use an authorized agent to ask on your behalf. We respond within the time the law allows.

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

Children

The site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information you have already sent us, we will tell you before it applies.

Questions

For any question about this policy, reach us through our contact form. You can also email us at hello@pacific86.com. The terms that govern use of the site are in the terms of use.
