Bulk Coconut Oil for Wholesale & Commercial Supply

Coconut oil comes in two kinds, and they are made differently.

The sheets show the gap in numbers. Peroxide value is 3 meq/kg at most on the virgin line and 1.0 on the refined one. Both turn solid below about 25°C, so plan for solid oil in a cool warehouse.

Questions Buyers Ask

+Why does the oil arrive solid?

Coconut oil sets below about 25°C. The refined line states a melting point of 25°C and the virgin line says it turns solid and cloudy below it. It is the same oil; warm it above that point before you pump or pour. The published IBC tote comes with a heat pad.

+Virgin or refined?

Refined is neutral in odor and taste, so the coconut does not show in the finished product. Virgin keeps the coconut aroma. Tell us which your recipe needs and we quote that type.

+What packs does it come in?

Both published lines ship in a 20,240 kg flexitank, a 920 kg IBC tote with a heat pad, a 190 kg steel drum and an 18.4 kg pail. Other virgin lines pack retail glass jars from 200 ml to 950 ml.

+How long does it keep?

Both published lines state 24 months from manufacture, stored dry, out of direct sunlight and at not below 25°C.
